This is a golden raintree. All of the yellow blooms turn into little lantern looking pods. They are interesting to decorate with. Several long twigs look great in a clear glass vase. I had never seen one of these trees until we moved into our home. I have love this tree and the beauty it gives. It is particularly pretty this year because of the rain. The last couple of years it hasn't produced all that many blooms.
