This is a great idea for gardening when you don't have a lot of space in your backyard. They have planted flowers in this raised bed. But this picture incorporates vertical gardening. They have used two old iron gates in the middle of the raised bed to provide a structure for something to grow up. You could plant cucumbers, sugar snap peas, green beans or even cantaloupe all of these are vining plants. Then around the edge you could have tomato plants, pepper plants, eggplant, or onions.
This gives you an idea of a small raised bed and how to grow several different vegetables without a lot of space.
